ESSEC Business School is an international higher education institution specialising in high-level training in management and business administration. Founding

 

The Institut économique was founded at the Ecole Sainte-Geneviève, with an initial class of seven students. In 1908, there were 25 students in both years at the Institut. An optional third year was introduced in 1909.


 

1973

Cergy Campus

ESSEC left the Rue d’Assas in Paris and headed for the new town of Cergy-Pontoise. This period was also marked by the greater freedom of choice offered to students in building their career paths, and by the growing importance of professional experience in schooling. 

The campus is now equipped with the best teaching tools: lecture theatres with videoconferencing equipment, the Learning Centre, language laboratories, Knowledge-Lab, etc.

The campus has four nearby residence halls (1095 rooms) and athletic facilities.

1989

La Défense Campus

The Executive Education programme was launched in 1967 and moved to the CNIT in 1989, in the La Défense business district.

ESSEC Executive Education programmes allow continuing education students to reveal their potential, strengthen their leadership, deepen their expertise and develop a taste for entrepreneurship.

2015

Singapore Campus

Established in Singapore in 2005, ESSEC opened its campus on Nepal Hill, in the heart of a fast-developing area dedicated to research, entrepreneurship and teaching. The 6,500 m² building can accommodate up to 1,500 students per year.

2017

Rabat Campus

Dubbed ESSEC Africa, this new 6,000 m² campus is ideally located on the Plage des Nations site in Sidi Bouknadel, in the heart of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra urban area. It is set in a luxury residential area, just a few minutes from the beach and athletic and cultural facilities. It is 25 minutes from Rabat, Kénitra and Rabat-Salé Airport, and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Casablanca.
